Seoul: Stunning Photoshoot Spots

After our article about China’s gorgeous spring destination, let’s go to the amazing Seoul, one of the pretty destination people are most likely to visit in Asia. Not only famous for its historical and cultural background, Seoul is also a place where modern atmosphere happens. Here we will write down to you several Insta-worthy places that you have to visit while in Seoul! From the majestic palace, high skyscrapers to the most-happening cafes in town, we’ve got all the good things here for you.

1. Gyeongbokgung Palace 경복궁

A stunning palace built in 1935 during the Joseon Dynasty or commonly also known as the Northern Palace because of its location further north compared to other neighbor palaces. This famous Palace attracts more tourists each year as they are also very excited to visit this historical place. There’s no need to think about what you’ll wear during your photoshoot here, as Hanbok would be the best choice that really goes well with the background. And did we tell you that it’s free admission when you wear Hanbok?? You’re welcome.

2. Bukcheon Village 북촌한옥마을

For Korean Drama lovers, this place will surely ring a bell to you. Located near Gyeongbokgung Palace, this neighborhood is the place of different cultural centres, guesthouses, restaurants and event tea houses. It would be a fantastic photoshoot wearing your hanbok as well, so don’t take off your hanbok just yet, but be careful that you might feel tired walking alongside the street as the road is quite challenging. But we assure you it will all be worth it! There are pretty little alleys that you could get lost in and reminiscing all those scenes you have seen on the drama.

3. DongDaeMun Design Plaza 동대문디자인플라자

The meaning of this DongDaeMun Design Plaza or usually called DDP is Dream Design and Play. Once was nominated as the most tagged place on instagram as this place is very iconic thanks to Zaha Hadid and has been hosted different particular events such as Seoul Fashion Week. There are different areas that you could literally visit and make that your gorgeous photoshoot spot with all the amazing building and structures as the background.

4. N Seoul Tower (Namsan) 남산서울타워

Namsan or N Seoul Tower is one of the must-visit place with the height of 480 m above sea level. Not only a nice photo spot, but this tower was also the first broadcasting tower for TV and radio signals back in 1969. Either having the tower as your background, or being inside the tower to take a gorgeous shot 480m above the ground with Seoul as your view is also a good idea.

5. Common Ground - Shopping Centre & Hang Out Spots 커먼그라운드

Piled up from over than 200 large blue containers, Common Ground is definitely the hippiest place to visit for you. Consists of different cafes, shopping store, and if you’re lucky, you can also visit some of the exhibition they are currently showing there. Don’t worry about the crowds, as you’ll have different spots to choose and spend whatever the time you need to get that perfect shot.

6. Style Nanda Pink Pool Cafe - Pink Hotel 스타일난다 핑크풀카페

This is the heaven for us girls who is in love with pink. And for those of you who are not, I am afraid you might like this café too. A cool combination of make-up and fashion store with a hotel themed concept with café inside is totally our stunning photoshoot spot. With 7 floors in total including the basement and rooftop, you are welcome to explore. Make sure to not bring just one outfit here because we are pretty sure you’ll want to change some!

7. Haneul Park 하늘공원

Being back to nature is one of a pleasant thing to do, and it is far more exciting when you can find a beautiful park in Seoul where you can also chill and do picnic there. Isn’t it fun? This park looks very amazing in each season, but we though the autumn would be the best season to visit as the tall Eulalia plants bloom gorgeously giving you the breathtaking backdrop, plus, you can wear your autumn outfits and have fun exploring different hidden gems you might find interesting in this park.

8. Starfield Library, COEX Mall 스타필드 코엑스몰

When you want to have thousands of books placed very well in gorgeous shelves being you next instagram background, Starfield Library is the perfect spot for you. Located inside the main atrium of COEX Mall, this library is the home of you who are book lovers where they also provide great amount of reading spaces inside. One of the most taken spots is this gorgeous escalator with enormous shelf on the back. You’ll need to be extra and be willing to go back and forth to get that perfect shot of yours. But no worries, we’ll help you!
